My Process
A look inside
With 14 years of photographing weddings around Seattle and beyond, I have a seamless process dialed in.
The engagement session is our first opportunity to work together. It's a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera in a relaxed setting. This helps you feel at ease on the wedding day, knowing you're in good hands of a trusted professional.
4. Engagement session
I only take on a limited number of clients a year which mean I'm dedicated to getting to know you and always available to collaborate to meet your specific needs. With over a decade of photographing weddings, I'm full of wedding planning wisdom to help you navigate this journey. I'm just a phone call and a text message away.
3. Boutique client experience
The entire booking process is easy-peasy. The contracting and invoicing process is all done online and hassle free. A 50% deposit of the booking fee will secure your date. Once we're official, your date is secured and we get to focus on all the planning fun for your special day.
2. Hire me
After you inquire, I would love to meet in person over coffee or a glass of wine or a Zoom call. This is our chance to discuss your vision and my approach. We can then determine if a partnership is a fit.
1. Let's chat
I'll collaborate with your planner to create a timeline, or assist you in building one if you don't have a planner. Two weeks before your wedding, we'll schedule a call to finalize all the important details. Plus, we'll prepare the family group shot lists to ensure all your loved ones are included in the photos.
5. Closer to wedding day
I'll be there for the entire day, capturing moments and celebrating with you. Dressed to blend in, I'll provide direction when necessary and step back to let natural moments unfold. You can count on my calm and professional presence to put you at ease. And yes, I promise to join the dancing and give you a celebratory hug at the end of the night.
6. Wedding day
Your anticipation is important to me. I'll promptly begin editing your photos, with a usual turnaround time of 4 weeks - though I often deliver even faster than expected. You'll find your high-res files available for download in your online gallery. The gallery also makes sharing with loved ones a breeze. Plus, expect sneak peeks within 24 hours of your wedding, so you can share the joy while still basking in the happiness of your special day.

Many of my past clients are now dear friends. We've had them over for dinner and watched their families grow. Wedding photography is something much deeper to me than taking photos. It's really about capturing joy and delivering happiness.

Frequently Asked Questions
More questions?
Almost all wedding photographers implicitly or explicitly charge for a second photographer because they have to subcontract with the other photographer. While It never hurts to have an additional set of eyes, in many cases a second photographer is not needed. I only recommend a second photographer to be with me only if your wedding has a lot of events, large guest count and/or wedding party and complicated logistics (i.e., getting ready, ceremony and reception venues are spread across town). Otherwise, it’s not worth the additional investment. I can cover a lot on my own but there are situations where I can’t be in two places at once. If you’re still unsure, we can talk about your wedding and see what will work best for you.
Your excitement and anticipation matters to me. My delivery window is within 4 weeks. This is unheard of when working with a solo wedding photographer. Every photo will be carefully edited with love.
The images are delivered through an online gallery. Just a couple of clicks and all the high-resolution images automatically download to your local drive. These images are high resolution and can be used for canvas and large prints.
Heck yeah, I do! Domestic or international. Locations more than a two-hour drive from Seattle are considered destination weddings and a travel fee will be involved. The fee is estimated based on distance to the destination, local accommodation rates during peak/off-peak travel seasons and other logistics. I require arriving the day before and stay locally to mitigate the risk of arriving late or completely miss the wedding day due to travel delays.
The online gallery will be available for six months after the delivery date. I highly encourage you to store your images in a safe and secure place as I can’t guarantee perpetual archival of the images.

Artistry
If the images I've captured speak to you then you get my style. It’s inspired by years of travel to far-flung places. Photography is my creative outlet and I get immense joy from it. It fills my cup! I mostly shoot with a documentary approach mixed with classic and creative portraiture. I love clean and timeless images. Over-stylized Photoshop filters are not my thing and will date. I excel at capturing vignettes and love incorporating people and the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest into the images I photograph. Warm and glowing natural light make me swoon and encourage my best work.
