I do this because I truly love the art of photography and making people happy. Your reaction to seeing your photographs makes my day. My photography style is inspired by years of travel to farflung places with my camera in tow. I will bring the same curiosity and artistic approach to your wedding day.
I’m married to a wonderful woman who inspires me in my art……and in life. We have two busy dogs, Enzo and Cleo. One stalks me all day with her tennis ball and the other thinks he’s a cat. As a family, we're always planning our next adventure.

That is why wedding photography to me is more than just taking pretty pictures, it's about spreading joy.
Honestly, I stumbled into wedding photography by chance. A friend came across my travel photos online and asked if I could photograph her wedding. Back then, I had zero experience with wedding photography, but I gave it my all. Surprisingly, the photos from that wedding got featured in a bridal magazine. From then on, there was no looking back.
Through this experience, I came to realize that I have something else to offer that brings people joy.

I've lived in the Seattle-area my entire adult life. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Accounting. Though, I often found myself constantly drawn to my creative side. In my younger years, I impulsively hopped on a plane and traveled solo to just about anywhere and took photos on a film camera. This was way before Instagram was a thing.
It was in those journey's that I learned to be observant and respectful to the people and places I visited. I made connections and appreciated the beauty of the everyday life, away from the typical tourist spots. Those journeys taught me that photography is not just about the satisfaction of getting that trophy shot...
How it All Began

The only meat product I can eat is beef.
I sat next to Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash on a flight. Chat with them the entire time but had no idea who they were.
My college house caught fire and burned down. We were briefly homeless.
You'd be amazed how much spaghetti I can eat.
I'm full of 80's music, TV and movies trivia.
I played basketball against Shaquille O'Nile in high school.
I'm extremely camera shy. Take notice that I don't have one good close up photo of me on my website. I'm working on it.
I once was an aspiring standup comedian.

Artistry
If the images I've captured speak to you then you get my style. It’s inspired by years of travel to far-flung places. Photography is my creative outlet and I get immense joy from it. It fills my cup! I mostly shoot with a documentary approach mixed with classic and creative portraiture. I love clean and timeless images. Over-stylized Photoshop filters are not my thing and will date. I excel at capturing vignettes and love incorporating people and the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest into the images I photograph. Warm and glowing natural light make me swoon and encourage my best work.

When we team up, I'll put my heart and soul into creating a visual story that you'll cherish for years to come. I love working with couples who value photography and understand the effort behind creating stunning images. I pour all my knowledge, experience, positive vibes, and creativity into my work. Let's embrace these moments together, even if it gets a bit awkward, and we have a good laugh about it later. I promise, no cliché poses and staged shots. Trust me, some of your favorite images will be the unexpected ones – imperfections and all! Instagram and Pinterest probably will be long gone but your memories will not.

I only take on a limited number of wedding clients each year, preferring to work with those who vibe with my style, vision, and are willing to trust the process.
