Since 2009 as a Seattle Wedding Photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing multiple weddings at Swans Trail Farms in Snohomish. This wedding venue never disappoints.

What makes Swans Trail Farms so special is its flexibility and how photogenic it is. With a rustic barn, spacious lawns, and beautiful gardens, you have many options for your dream wedding.

The wide-open lawns give your guests plenty of space to spread out and enjoy themselves. The farm also features cornfields and apple orchards, perfect for stunning photos.

I absolutely love capturing couples against the backdrop of the amazing Pacific Northwest summer sunsets. The peaceful ponds and streams further enhance the natural beauty of the venue.

DIY Wedding at Swans Trail Farms

Lauren and Drew’s wedding was a DIY masterpiece! With a bride who was incredibly organized and meticulous about every detail, the result was stunning. The natural setting of Swans Trail Farm in Snohomish was the perfect backdrop for their elegant wedding in shades of pink, ivory, gold, and green.

Everything was impeccable, from the chalkboard signage to the cork escort cards. The eucalyptus garlands and lush pink and ivory bouquets were exquisite, perfectly complementing the rustic charm of the venue. Though rain threatened the outdoor ceremony, it held off just long enough for the nuptials. However, guests had to seek cover during cocktail hour. The dinner reception was equally charming, featuring gold chargers, simple ivory plates, a sprig of eucalyptus, and a custom olive oil favor for each guest.

I should also mention that I’ve photographed the weddings of almost all of Lauren’s bridesmaids.

Not only did I have the pleasure of working with an organized and detailed bride who thought of everything, I had Rebecca Grant at New Creations Weddings at my side to boot. What a dream team!
