For Kate and me, Snohomish has become a favorite destination, especially during the summertime. Instead of heading into Seattle, we love bringing our out-of-town guests to Snohomish for a truly authentic Pacific Northwest experience. With its picturesque countryside scenery, delicious dining options, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a perfect alternative to Seattle to really get immersed in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

During the fall season, Swans Trail Farms transforms into a haven of fun with hayrides, corn mazes, apple picking, petting zoos, and yes, you heard it right, duck races! It’s a blast for kids and kids at heart. Kate and I love coming here during the fall.

- Photography: Wide open space is sometimes too much of a good thing. Bright sunny days offer little available shade at a Swans Trail Farms. This poses challenges for flattering portraits, especially during the ceremony, bride & groom, wedding party, and family portraits. Hiring an experienced wedding photographer who can handle these lighting conditions is crucial.
- Noise Ordinance: The venue is subject to noise ordinance so the party may need to end before you’re ready for it to end.
- Alcohol Policy: The venue has a very restrictive policy about bringing outside alcohol that is not served by a licensed bartender.
- Extra Vendor Charges: Some vendors may consider Swans Trail Farms a destination location and charge a fee.
