Kirkland Senior Portraits
As a wedding and senior portrait photographer, I have the unique opportunity to capture some of life’s most memorable milestones. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Addison, a senior from Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA.
Addison is an outstanding student and an active participant in her school’s community. To celebrate her senior year, she chose to have her portraits taken, and I was honored to document this special time for her.
When we first met at Marymoor Park, Addison was a little reserved, which is perfectly natural for many of my clients, especially if they’re not used to being in front of the camera. But as we explored the park’s beautiful landscapes, Addison’s confidence began to shine through.
Marymoor Park offers a variety of scenic backdrops, from expansive open fields to tree-lined and boardwalk paths. We started the session in the field, where the soft afternoon light gave the photos a warm and inviting glow. As Addison became more comfortable, her natural smile and personality started to show in every shot.
We then moved to a wooded section of the park, where the towering trees and rustic charm of the boardwalk added a different feel to the photos. Addison’s ease in front of the camera grew with every pose, and by the end of the session, her shyness had completely faded, revealing her bright and energetic personality.
