Downtown Seattle Wedding
Caitlyn and Blake’s downtown Seattle wedding was a delightful showcase of everything the city has to offer. I got to tour some of Seattle’s best scenes at their wedding.
The festivities began at the Washington Athletic Club, serving as both the getting-ready location and the backdrop for their heartfelt first look moments. Blake’s tender moment with their daughter in the library was particularly touching.

The bridal party was then treated to a bus tour of downtown Seattle and the Seattle waterfront where we stopped to take photos with against the backdrop of some Seattle’s iconic landmarks.
Wedding Ceremony at Seattle Church of Christ on Queen Anne
Their emotional wedding ceremony was held at the Seattle Church of Christ on Queen Anne. I loved the Spanish architecture of the church – very photogenic! My favorite moment of their wedding was their triumphant exit from the church after the ceremony with a classic car awaiting to sweep them away to their wedding reception venue at 415 Westlake.

Reception at 415 Westlake
At the 415 Westlake reception venue, guests were treated to delicious Cajun cuisine from Jemil’s Big Easy catering, featuring mouthwatering dishes like jambalaya and red beans rice. The night turned into an epic dance party, where Caitlyn and Blake’s parents stole the show with their impressive moves.

About 415 Westlake Venue
415 Westlake is located in the South Lake Union neighborhood in Seattle. As a matter of fact, I used to live just a few blocks away from there and never knew it was an event space until Caitlyn and Blakes wedding. The venue offers a blend of modern elegance and urban charm, but the venue’s contemporary ambiance can be dressed to suit your vision. I absolutely loved the open space for the guest to move around and the large windows provided ample natural light to please any wedding photographer.
