Wedding at Trinity Tree Farm
Laura and Griff’s wedding at Trinity Tree Farm was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever photographed. That summer had been the driest in years, but the wedding day forecast predicted a chance of showers.
Despite the blue skies and puffy white clouds, the decision was made to hold the ceremony outdoors.
Just as Laura and her father walked up the aisle, the skies darkened, and the rain began pouring.
That’s when the magic happened. Under the pouring rain, Laura and Griffin exchanged vows and made the most unforgettable exit down the aisle.
And I learned the hard way to never run backward on wet grass while shooting.

About Trinity Tree Farm
Trinity Tree Farm is a hidden gem among wedding venues in the Seattle area. It is located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Issaquah which i just a 30-minute drive from Seattle.
Trinity Tree Farm spans 40-acres with rolling fields of Christmas trees which is an amazing backdrop for photographing the couple during sunset.
The venue offers two beautiful wedding and event venues: The Barn and The Lodge.
The Barn
The Barn features French doors that open to for a scenic view. It includes a log cabin and loft for bride and groom getting ready area.
The Lodge
The Lodge has ceilings, skylights, and tall windows which allow in great amount of light for photos. This Craftsman-style home has an expansive rom with a pool table and a built-in bar. Perfect for keeping the groomsmen busy before the wedding.
Christmas Tree Farm
Trinity Tree Farm is also a Christmas tree farm. They offer families to come and cut their own Christmas trees. When I was a kid, my family used to go here to take our annual Christmas photos.
